Primary this please. I like it much better than the flag-and-star. It actually portrays a blue jacket!
I'm guessing the bug is used to reference the opposite of yellow jacket. To my knowledge, anyways, there's no blue jacket wasp/bee. I can see the connection and it's pretty clever. I'll give them full credit for creativity. The newer logo has a darker color scheme, which I like. This is still pretty cool, though.

So I'm guessing, but a blue jacket was an individual who fought for the north during the civil war. If Ole Miss can be the Rebels, why not? However, go with it and lose the bug.
