It doesn't resemble the Flames logo at all. And a roughneck refers to the men who work on the oil rigs in Alberta.

...It does however kinda resemble the other Alberta hockey team's Alternate... Coincidence? I'm surprised the Oilers haven't sued them the get some of the wasted "Penner" money back!!!
